At The Y, strengthening community is our cause. Everyday, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. With that mission in mind, the Greater Lynn and Melrose YMCAs are joining forces to best serve members and the community, while preserving the unique heritage and traditions of each individual location.

More Resources
While every Y has similar core offerings, each location has unique facilities and programming. For example, did you know the Torigian Family Y in Peabody offers a beautiful indoor pool and rock wall? Or, that the Lynn Y has a brand new Youth Digital Music Studio? Melrose’s gymnastics program is one of the best in the state, complete with its very own training center. Plus, in the Summer, the Saugus Y’s Camp Sachem provides a memorable experience at their 14-acre campus off the Lynn Fells Parkway!

And that’s only scratching the surface. There’s so much more to explore at each Y!

Increased Flexibility
Now, it will be even easier for members to take advantage of the programs and services at each Member Y. Just scan your existing card at any of the four (4) locations within the Association and use the facility like you were at your home Y! Live in Peabody, but work in Melrose? Now, you can easily swing by for a lunchtime workout.

Staff Collaboration
Our staff and members have a vast amount of knowledge and expertise. Through regular communication, we can learn from one another, which translates into a more in-depth member experience. By sharing our skills, experiences and resources, we can deliver even more services that promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility throughout our communities.
