Join us for our annual Lynn YMCA Shining Stars Music Awards being held at the Lynn Museum showcasing the exceptionally talented singers and musicians of Lynn and the surrounding communities.

This year’s event is on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 7:00pm-9:00pm; doors open at 6:30 pm. Come and be a part of the celebration of the universal language of music as we honor and recognize outstanding talent.

Legacy Award:
An individual whose musical career and life work has inspired countless people and has ignited the flame of passion for music with the fire of their own experience. Through this unwavering compassion for others, an uncovering of their gifts of music are revealed.

Spotlight Award: An individual or group that is currently influencing others with their music and have gained a level of recognition because of it. Their music has made an impression in the world of music and has reached an audience beyond our local region.

Rising Star Award: An individual or group that is relatively new to the music industry and whose impact in the music world is gaining momentum at a rapid pace due to the undeniable talent and potential of the artist.


Please join us to recognize the work of the honorees. Your support provides opportunities for the current and upcoming generations of musicians.  100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Lynn Y Music Studio. We provide free music education and production to youth ages 8-18.

Hundreds of students have been mentored in the Lynn YMCA Music Studio. Many have experienced levels of success, improved their self-confidence, mastered music production software and have performed live before large audiences.

Tickets for the Lynn Shining Stars event are $50 per adult and $25 per person for ages 14-18.
