[February 27  – Peabody, MA] The YMCA of Metro North is proud to announce that Rockland Trust has awarded a generous $15,000 grant to support Y Academy early education and out-of-school time programs at the Lynn, Saugus, and Peabody YMCAs. This funding will enhance the YMCA’s ability to provide high-quality early learning and afterschool care for more than 1,600 children, ages 2.9 to 13 years old, each year.

“We are incredibly grateful to Rockland Trust for their investment in our children’s future,” said Kathleen Walsh, President and CEO of the YMCA of Metro North. “This support helps us continue providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.”

The Y Academy’s early education and afterschool programs offer a well-rounded curriculum that includes academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, and physical activity. With the support of Rockland Trust, the YMCA can continue to make these essential services accessible to working families across the community.
