Members receive two free guest passes each month, making it easy to invite a friend or family member to work out with you, take a class, go for a swim, or simply experience the Y for themselves.
Invite Someone to Try the Y
Know someone who might love the Y? Encourage them to visit, take a tour, or experience the Y with a complimentary trial when available. It’s a great way for them to explore our fitness centers, pools, classes, programs, and community before becoming a member.
Refer a Friend — Get a Month Free
When someone you refer becomes a new YMCA of Metro North member, you can earn one free month of membership. Complete the referral form below so we know you sent them our way. Once the new member has remained active for two months, your free month will be applied.
The more friends you refer who join, the more opportunities you have to earn free months of membership.

FREE Jumpstart fitness orientations
Enjoy a FREE 60-minute personal training coaching session to jumpstart your member experience at the Y. During your Jumpstart orientation, our trained staff will discuss your personal goals and familiarize yourself with our equipment and offerings. Submit an inquiry to schedule your appointment.

Enjoy the benefits of registering for group exercise classes on the go. The YMCA of Metro North app is available in the App Store and on Google Play. Membership Dues
Upon joining the Y, the joiner’s fee and first month’s payment are due, prorated based on the date you join. Your membership dues can then be paid either monthly or annually by checking account or credit card.
Membership Changes
If you need to make changes to your membership account, please contact your YMCA branch.
Joiner Fees
One time Joiner Fee of $25 per adult. Joiner Fee will reinstate if membership is inactive for more than 90 days. Must pay Joiner Fee when upgrading to a new membership category, when applicable.

The Y is committed to helping everyone achieve their full potential. Financial assistance, to the extent possible, is available through our Y Level Member Program for those residing in the communities we serve that need assistance paying for the full cost of a YMCA program or membership.
