The YMCA of Metro North is excited to announce that its annual Where in the World celebration will take place on Wednesday, September 18 at the Boston Marriott in Peabody. This highly anticipated event brings together community leaders, supporters, and friends of the Y to raise vital funds for the YMCA of Metro North’s financial assistance programs, which help make Y programs accessible to children and families across the region.

The evening will feature lively entertainment along with thrilling live and silent auctions, delicious food and drinks, and powerful stories of impact. Proceeds from the event will support the Y’s mission-driven programs, helping ensure all families have access to childcare, education, swim lessons, and wellness services regardless of their financial circumstances.

A special highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the YMCA of Metro North’s Community Compass Award to Kevin and Dee Colcord, in recognition of their extraordinary leadership, service, and dedication to making a lasting difference in our communities.

“This event is always a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together for a common cause,” said Kathleen Walsh, President and CEO of the YMCA of Metro North. “We’re thrilled to honor Kevin and Dee this year and to celebrate the generosity that helps expand our impact each and every day.”
