Twisters Gymnastics Team Hosts Tri-State Championships

The Saugus YMCA Gymnastics Center hosted the first States Championship Meet since 2019.

Four hundred gymnasts from across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire met over the course of three days for the Championships. Teams included the Metro North Twisters, North Shore Phoenix, South Shore Synergy, and others for a total of ten teams that competed. Every other meet will be virtual this year. This is the only in-person Tri-State.

Level 3 won 1st as a team!

Xcel Gold tied for 1st as a team!

Individual Awards highlights:

7 Twisters placed 1^st for All-Around in their respective age groups and levels. (Four from level 3 alone)

4 Twisters placed 1^st on Vault in their respective age groups and levels.

10 Twisters placed 1^st on Bars in their respective age groups and levels.

5 Twisters place 1^st on Beam in their respective age groups and levels.

6 Twisters placed 1^st on Floor in their respective age groups and levels.

This was also the final competition for Senior, Molly Grady from Wakefield.
