Teen Success Summer Series
Program Overview
Build skills, explore career opportunities, and connect with local professionals this summer through the Teen Career & Entrepreneur Summer Series. Designed for ages 13–19, this free program combines practical workforce readiness workshops with an inspiring entrepreneur speaker series. Participants will gain valuable life and career skills while learning directly from successful business leaders and professionals from the Lynn community.
Workforce Readiness Workshops
Session 1: Financial Literacy
Tuesday, June 30, 2026 | 5:45–7:00 PM
Learn the fundamentals of personal finance, including budgeting, saving, understanding credit, and making smart financial decisions. Participants will leave with practical tools to help manage money with confidence.
Session 2: Landing the Job
Tuesday, July 7, 2026 | 5:45–7:00 PM
Discover how to create a strong resume, network effectively, and prepare for interviews. This hands-on workshop will help participants stand out and confidently pursue employment opportunities.
Session 3: Workforce Professionalism & Communication
Tuesday, July 14, 2026 | 5:45–7:00 PM
Develop the workplace skills employers value most, including communication, professionalism, teamwork, conflict resolution, and receiving feedback.
Teen Entrepreneur Speaker Series
Dates: July 15–August 19, 2026
Time: Wednesdays, 5:30–7:00 PM
Hear from successful entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals from Lynn as they share their career journeys, challenges, successes, and advice for future leaders. This series is designed to inspire youth and expose participants to a variety of career pathways.
This program is offered in partnership with the City of Lynn’s Youth Violence Prevention efforts.
