We wear pink on Wednesdays to promote breast cancer awareness. You can join us. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re inviting our members and the public to stop by any YMCA of Metro North Welcome Center in October and put up a PINK RIBBON in support or remembrance of a loved one who was affected by this terrible disease. Stop by starting October 1 and grab a ribbon and wear pink on Wednesdays in October when you come to the Y.
On Wednesday, October 19th, we will be hosting a special day of wearing PINK in solidarity with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., and their annual awareness campaign.
