On Thursday, March 10th, 2016 the Lynn YMCA hosted a beautiful event for an evening of music, recognition, community and entertainment. Talented singers/musicians included Amanda Mena, Not Sure Community, Rogue Butterfly, and the Lynn Public Schools High School Jazz Band.
Doreen Murray & Virginia Peacock-Makkers of Building Bridges Through Music, Inc, Seth Albaum of Lynn Happens, Justice Born of Wreck Shop Movement, and Melina Laganas were each awarded a Shining Star in recognition of the hard work, talent, and excellence they provide to the Lynn Community.
Thanks to everyone who supported the Lynn Shining Stars Event. All proceeds have been donated to the Lynn Y Music Studio Clubhouse, which will continue to provide free music education and production to youth ages 8-18.
