Torigian Family YMCA Invites The Community To It’s Spring Blood Drive

Peabody, MASS. (March 22, 2023) – The YMCA of Metro North is partnering with the Northeast Chapter of the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at the Torigian Family YMCA.

“We encourage everyone who is healthy to sign up and give blood,” said Cara Green, Executive Director of the Torigian Family YMCA.

Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood and or platelets, and blood supplies are at historically low levels. The Red Cross is asking the Peabody community to volunteer to give blood to help them save lives.

The blood drives will take place on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 259 Lynnfield Street in Peabody. Perspective donors can sign up for 40 timeslots during each drive.
