Apparatus Pilates are now offered at the Melrose YMCA! Private Pilates sessions with certified instructor, Mia Melendez are now available utilizing a Pilates reformer machine and other equipment.
What exactly is Pilates? Pilates in a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Apparatus or Reformer exercises are performed on pieces of equipment that use springs, gears, straps and ropes to provide resistance to both aid and challenge.
